You Are

Welcome Here

St. Barnabas is a place where our goal is for ALL to feel they belong.

We extend a special welcome to everyone regardless of age, marital status, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, those who are differently abled, or those who have ever felt left out or alone in church or society. All are welcome.

You are welcome if you don’t know what a “Lutheran” is, or if you are still exploring your spirituality. We believe in the practice of grace, which we define as generous, unearned love which God offers us, and we strive to offer each other.

We are a permission-giving church; we support individuals starting small interest groups to strengthen our church community. We encourage change to our programs depending on the needs of our community. St Barnabas moves within the world and aims to move the world for the better.

We honor and cherish our children of all ages. We encourage children to participate and be curious about church. We want to help them on their faith journey.

We value music and the role it plays in our church and community. Our music programs are strong and committed. We welcome instrumentalists and singers of all varieties, whether you’re a bit rusty or a pro.

We hope you visit St. Barnabas and stay for the coffee hour after the services. We value the fellowship and friendship that this time together brings to our church community (even if you don’t drink coffee!).

We at St. Barnabas are an imperfect group of people who come together to seek the grace of Jesus. He welcomes all of us, and in turn, we can’t wait to welcome you!
