Who gets to go?
All youth in grades 9-12 (as of September 2011) are invited to join us.
What's a Youth Gathering?
It's a gathering of 39,000 ELCA youth from around the country for a week of service, worship, learning, great music, exploring a new city and tons of fun.

Why should you go?
It's a unique, life-changing opportunity to see and experience the WHOLE church and what we are capable of as a community united in Christ. It challenges you to be a witness to others, to practice discipleship and to strive for peace and justice. It gives you an amazing perspective of what you are a part of as Christian youth in the world. You will not be disappointed!
Where do we stay?
In a hotel. Every night, there are community activities at the hotels including inflatable games/obstacles, dances, food, music, etc. You won't be bored, we promise.
When do we register?
Registration will open in September 2011 and will close on Sunday, October 2, 2011. We know that's early, but with 39,000 people going to this event, we have to plan ahead!
What about the rest of the details?
As the planning continues, details about cost, transportation, hotel, food, etc. will become more clear. Come to an informational meeting to find out more!!
