WELCOME TO ST. BARNABAS' YOUTH MINISTRIES!
OUR MISSION:
To embrace, equip, and support our youth as they grow in faith, serve God's people and care for God's creation.
YOUTH MINISTRIES:
We offer a youth ministry program for students in Middle School (grades 6-8) and High School (grades 9-12). Through small groups, large groups, fellowship, and service opportunities we seek to offer students the opportunity to build a relationship with Jesus Christ, adult leaders, and each other.

OUR VISION:
It is our hope and dream to build a youth ministry with multiple entry points into Christ's church here at St. Barnabas Lutheran. In each area of ministry we believe that everything comes down to a relational ministry (RELATIONSHIPS). So with that in mind we have adopted the following values, attitudes , styles and beliefs that help to fulfill our purpose. We try to incoporate these key approaches into all of our programs and events.
-
Relational approach - We want to spend time with students
Encouragement - We want to make students feel good
Laughter and Celebration - We want to help students enjoy life
Acceptance - We want to take students where they are
Transparency - We want to be real with students
Involvement of students - We want to get students participating
Outreach oriented - We want to reach the lost students
Numerical growth - We want to reach the masses
Spiritual growth - We want students to mature
Homelike - We want students to feel like they belong
Intimate - We want students to feel cared for
Professional - We want to do things well
Strategic follow-up - We want to know where students are
