A graduate of Wayzata High School with undergraduate and graduate music degrees from the University of Minnesota, Margaret Burton has been teaching flute (and band) for more than 20 years. She studied with Emil Opava, principal flutist of the Minnesota Orchestra.

Ms. Burton works well with musicians of any age and experience. She has coached high school flute sectionals, played in professional and community orchestras and bands (She even sang with the Dale Warland Singers!) and loves teaching beginners. She's an outstanding musician who would be a great fit for any flute student.
